So I landed in Miri yesterday morning. Nothing out of the norm but the weather was (and still is) rather unwelcoming.

And then I heard. Another landslide destroyed at least a couple of houses at the bottom of the hill. Just weeks after 2 petrol station employees were killed a few hundred meters away by the first landslide, one year after the freak storm hit Miri.

Seems 8 houses destroyed, luckily no one dead this time. Irrespectively, seems like some hll stabilising exercise needs to be done on Canada Hill.
