There are 2 places in the car that I hate the most.
Left front passenger and middle rear passenger seats.
Arguably in case I'm involved in an accident and the front vehicle has something jutting out and pierce my neck or I'm the easiest one to be thrown out of the front of the car (especially in the case of being seated in the middle).
I can never close my eyes during a journey unless I feel perfectly safe or I'm truly knocked out.
Why do I have a feeling I've said this before?

And yet some people can go to sleep as soon as the driver's foot hits the pedal.
Due to some communication issue, my earlier comment was referring to some lucky passengers that can go to sleep at any time with any driver. I am paranoid like you are.
I get so sleepy about 15 to 30 minutes after the journey starts.
Poor hubby, he has to entertain himself with music blasting from the car stereo or sing (which he does from time to time).
I wish I could stay awake.
Got pill to stay awake?(I wish).
One pot of coffee or tea cannot keep me awake during long journey whether it is a car or bus EXCEPT in PLANE (that is one place I wish I could just sleep immediately!!!Urrgh!!!).
