LOOKING AT THE WORLD FROM THE BOTTOM OF A WELL
- Mike Doughty -

....pasta improviso....

1. Go check what you have in the kitchen.

2. Be greatful you have at least something closely edible.

3. Put together whatever you found from the fridge or the shelf.

4. Think quick.

5. Cut 'em tomatoes, mushrooms, tofu. Crush black peppercorns, chop garlic. Prepare spaghetti until al dente.

6. Stir fry all other ingredients. A dollop of olive oil left, thank goodness. Need to include in shopping list.

7. Throw in pasta. Add a pinch of salt, some dry basil.

8. Voila! Bring in front tv, and indulge.

I love being lazy to go out sometimes.

Pasta with tofu, so it was fusion food day. I am always lazy to go out especially when I get back home but sometimes have to socialise lor ... so I go out. I have made mee hoon with pesto before - guess it ended up like Sabah mee hoon :-) I always do it like you do it too, take everything out and decide what to do.
